Makeup Artist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Makeup Artist responsible for applying gentle makeup for infants, subtle touch-ups for adults, and creating innovative theme-oriented styles for portfolio shoots. This role involves close collaboration with photographers and stylists to effectively execute creative concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply minimal, safe, and baby-appropriate makeup or styling during shoots with infants and toddlers, focusing mainly on cleaning, controlling shine, and delicate touch-ups.
• Perform fundamental makeup and hair touch-ups for adults during product or e-commerce photography sessions.
• Develop and implement themed makeup looks for fashion and modeling portfolios or other conceptual shoots.
• Ensure hygiene by using sanitized brushes and tools and employing products that are safe for sensitive skin.
• Work alongside the creative team to harmonize makeup with wardrobe choices, lighting, and overall concept.
• Provide on-set assistance during shoot sessions with quick makeup touch-ups and styling changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in makeup application for photo and video shoots, with an emphasis on natural appearances.
• Patience, friendliness, and confidence when working with babies and young children.
• Competence in creating both light, natural makeup looks and more imaginative, creative styling.
• Familiarity with skin-sensitive and baby-safe cosmetic products or openness to learning about them.
• Ability to deliver efficiently in dynamic and fast-moving shooting environments.
• Possession of a professional makeup kit containing hygienic tools and a broad range of cosmetics.

Additional Qualifications

• Previous work experience in baby photography or with children is advantageous.
• Skills in hair styling are considered a plus.
• A demonstrated creative portfolio featuring thematic or editorial makeup designs is desirable.

Remuneration

The position offers a monthly compensation between 12,000 and 16,000 INR.
