Job Responsibilities
- Attend to maintenance requests within 72 hours of notification
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls when on-call
- Conduct maintenance and minor repairs in vacant units following quality guidelines
- Manage general maintenance of common areas and building infrastructure
- Work with the Customer Care Team to coordinate suite inspections during turnover
- Perform and report on preventative maintenance inspections
- Supervise contractors to ensure completion adheres to quality standards
- Assist with snow clearing duties as needed
- Support other sites and tasks as requested
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years in maintenance service roles
- Three years of renovation experience is considered an asset
Technical and Non-Technical Skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Basic technology literacy preferred
- Possession of all necessary tools as per the provided list during interview
- Capable of physical tasks including walking, standing, stair climbing, and lifting for up to eight hours
- Able to handle loads up to 90 kg with appropriate equipment
- Commitment to resolving maintenance issues correctly on the first attempt
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent time management
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in teams
- Positive demeanor, enthusiasm, and assertiveness in the workplace
Additional Preconditions
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Own a dependable vehicle for work-related travel
