About the Role
We invite you to join Wabtec Corporation as a Maintenance Scheduler at our radiator manufacturing facility located in Welshpool, Western Australia. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safe operations.
- Prioritize work orders based on risk assessment, production impact, and safety factors.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and stores teams to synchronize resources, spare parts, and labor.
- Manage shutdowns efficiently to minimize disruption to production.
- Ensure compliance with operational guidelines, safety standards, statutory and project-specific requirements.
- Analyze maintenance data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting to diagnose machinery faults.
- Support safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Participate actively in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Maintain maintenance documentation aligned with regulatory and quality standards.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or within a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Preferably with background in radiator manufacturing, automotive component production, metal fabrication, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
