Key Responsibilities

• Perform diverse maintenance duties to ensure the nursing center and surrounding grounds are clean, safe, orderly, and visually appealing.
• Execute minor repairs on building elements including handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, as well as medical equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, and geri-chairs.
• Maintain electrical and safety systems, including sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers.
• Replace HVAC filters as needed.
• Manage supply inventory by carrying, lifting, and restocking items.
• Assume responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor during their absence.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with foundational skills in wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
