Overview
The Address Citywest seeks a Maintenance Assistant responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure the facility's optimal function. This role involves conducting regular inspections, managing repair and installation tasks, and maintaining the property to support business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and enforce maintenance protocols across the premises.
- Inspect facilities regularly to detect and resolve potential issues.
- Assess electrical and hydraulic systems to confirm proper operation.
- Coordinate all repair and installation projects.
- Distribute workload and oversee the maintenance team's activities.
- Maintain equipment inventories and order supplies as needed.
- Control maintenance budgets by monitoring expenses.
- Manage engagements with external contractors and service providers.
- Keep comprehensive maintenance logs and document daily work.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including fire safety.
- Serve as the liaison with outside contractors.
Requirements and Skills
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and general maintenance crafts.
- Experience with operating and maintaining facility machines and equipment.
- Proficient in tracking, reporting activities, and budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to maintenance operations.
- Capability to handle administrative duties including reporting and budgeting.
