Job Overview
This position offers flexible scheduling options for either full-time or part-time employment at Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. The role entails various maintenance-related tasks to support the upkeep and functionality of the church facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Replacing light bulbs
- Pressure washing exterior or interior surfaces
- Assessing minor electrical issues
- Performing small cabinet repairs
- Hanging pictures and decorations
- Replacing ceiling tiles as needed
- Conducting minor cleaning and remediation tasks
- Assisting with basic landscaping duties
- Running errands to procure maintenance supplies
- Supporting the maintenance team with larger repair or upkeep tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness of the compactor area
- Setting up and breaking down tables and chairs for events
- Moving furniture as required
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Possession of a valid Louisiana Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background screening
- Strong organizational and communication skills with effective listening abilities
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds on occasion
