Job description
Role Overview
Our client, a specialized boutique advisory firm in mergers and acquisitions, is searching for a seasoned corporate finance or transaction services expert to join their team in Dublin. The Associate Director will play a central role in advising clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, funding deals, and associated activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate merger and acquisition prospects by identifying suitable targets, performing thorough financial analyses, and conducting comprehensive market research.
- Create detailed financial models and employ multiple valuation methods to underpin investment decisions and strategies.
- Participate actively in the due diligence necessary for transactions.
- Drive deal origination efforts and cultivate strong, enduring relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Certified accountant and/or holder of a CFA designation with over five years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services, or private equity settings.
- Effective communicator possessing strong commercial insight, capable of leading deal processes with advanced financial modeling expertise.
