Overview
Join a large manufacturing group that specializes in producing printed cartons, labels, inserts, and flexible packaging for over 400 clients spanning healthcare, natural health, personal care, and consumer goods sectors. Job Responsibilities
- Operate designated machinery to achieve production targets efficiently.
- Gain cross-functional skills by training across various binding and finishing equipment in the Bindery department.
- Conduct minor preventive maintenance and repairs while promptly reporting mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Maintain machinery in optimal condition ensuring adherence to quality system protocols.
- Help meet departmental goals focused on customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably more than two years' experience operating bindery machinery, such as literature folder gluers, or other technical production equipment.
- Familiarity with basic quality control systems and documentation processes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change.
- Educational qualification of high school diploma or GED.
- Physical capability including twisting, reaching, kneeling, pulling, standing for extended durations, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Good concentration levels along with essential abilities to speak, hear, and see clearly to perform job functions safely.
