Job Overview
As a Loadbuilder at Irving Oil, you will be responsible for arranging and supporting transportation resources to create efficient and cost-effective loads of liquid oil products. This role focuses on optimizing asset, resource, and product utilization while strictly adhering to company policies and procedures. Your effectiveness will be evaluated based on your ability to meet delivery commitments and satisfy customer expectations on a daily basis.

Primary Responsibilities
- Construct safe, effective, and efficient daily transportation schedules by applying knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
- Review previous day’s loading activities to identify improvement areas and adjust upcoming schedules accordingly.
- Leverage technology to gather and respond promptly to information requests from managers, technicians, and customers.
- Maintain ownership and accountability over the assigned geographic region.
- Make timely, well-informed decisions balancing company goals and customer needs.
- Forecast seasonal product and resource demands accurately.
- Produce results with an understanding of financial impacts related to scheduling decisions.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance continuously.

- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills, with capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience and Education
- Minimum of a high school diploma; post-secondary education is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of work experience in a customer service capacity.
- Background in analytics or scheduling roles.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector is advantageous.

The compensation for this role is anticipated to be between $47,840 and $59,800, with placement determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
