Position Summary

We are seeking a Line Maintainer to join our Operations team based at 600 Clarke Road, London, Ontario. This role is scheduled on the Night C Shift running Monday to Friday, 10:40 PM to 7:00 AM, with the workweek beginning Sunday at 10:40 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct line changeovers and maintain production lines by supplying and servicing equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting of production machinery as issues arise.
  • Document test runs, participate in product trials and collect relevant production data.
  • Facilitate team meetings, guide line operators, and onboard new employees.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and participate in Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Escalate operational difficulties to management or relevant departments appropriately.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, plus successful completion of basic qualification tests.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime and independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to train for McCormick forklift certification.
  • Experience with food packaging, filling lines, or related manufacturing processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with SAP software considered an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

The base hourly rate starts at $24.22 plus a $1.50 shift differential. Final salary offers consider location, qualifications, experience, and internal pay equity. Eligible employees may participate in McCormick’s Dividend Plan.
