About the Role
We seek a qualified and experienced Line Assembler Trainer specializing in telecom products to provide comprehensive theoretical and practical training aligned with the TSSC TEL/Q2502 Qualification Pack. The role centers on equipping trainees with industry-standard skills in telecom and electronics assembly, production line methods, handset and mobile accessory assembly, as well as ensuring adherence to ESD and workplace safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct both theoretical lessons and practical sessions based on TSSC TEL/Q2502 guidelines.
- Guide trainees through processes involved in telecom, electronics, and handset assembly.
- Provide hands-on training on printed circuit boards (PCB), components, connectors, cables, and usage of assembly tools.
- Instruct students on production line workflows and assembly procedures.
- Explain and demonstrate technical assembly diagrams, production steps, and instructions.
- Teach quality control methods, defect identification, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Lead practical sessions on ESD-safe handling and electronic component management.
- Train learners in mobile accessory assembly and fundamental testing procedures.
- Introduce basic production documentation practices, inventory management, and ERP/digital tracking systems.
- Organize practical activities, assessments, and preparation for viva voce examinations.
- Maintain accurate records for attendance, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Support and mentor students to develop skills that prepare them to enter the telecom manufacturing workforce confidently.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Expertise in electronics and telecom handset assembly techniques.
- Competence in handling PCBs and various electronic components.
- Familiarity with production line assembly operations and related tools.
- Knowledge of mobile and telecom equipment manufacturing processes.
- Skills regarding mobile accessories assembly.
- Ability to conduct basic electrical and electronic measurements.
- Understanding of quality inspection parameters and defect detection.
- Proficiency in ESD protection practices and safe electronic handling.
- Basic soldering and rework experience.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and assembly diagrams.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety regulations.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Experience in mobile and handset manufacturing sectors.
- Background in telecom equipment and electronics manufacturing environments.
- Work experience related to PCB, EMS, or SMT production lines.
- Familiarity with consumer electronics or mobile accessories production.
- Knowledge of electronics production quality standards.
Educational Background
Diploma, ITI, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or graduate degree holders specializing in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or other relevant technical fields are encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should ideally possess over 2 to 3 years of proven experience in relevant telecom or electronics assembly roles. Hands-on exposure to production and assembly tasks in these industries is highly regarded. Previous training or teaching roles will be considered advantageous.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges between 25,000 INR and 30,000 INR.
