Lifeguard

Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and qualified Lifeguard to ensure safety at our swimming facilities located in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, Kenya. The selected individual will be tasked with maintaining a secure swimming environment by supervising all pool users and responding swiftly and effectively to any emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee swimming areas continuously to guarantee the safety of all guests.
• React promptly and competently to incidents or emergencies within the pool vicinity.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of valid lifeguarding certification is mandatory.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly recommended.
• Demonstrated swimming proficiency and water rescue skills.
• Excellent observation abilities coupled with effective communication skills.
• Capacity to remain alert and respond quickly under emergency situations.
• A professional attitude prioritizing guest safety at all times.
• Experience as a lifeguard is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays as necessary.
