Job description
Role Overview
The Learning and Development Expert will spearhead the creation and execution of sophisticated learning strategies, leadership growth initiatives, and broader organizational capability enhancement programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft comprehensive enterprise learning frameworks, leadership development programs, and capability-building initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate programs tied to the Leadership Factory and the High-Potential (HiPo) talent ecosystem.
- Formulate clear developmental pathways for emerging leaders and high-potential talent.
- Collaborate with Talent Management to convert succession plans into tailored development actions.
- Work with internal partners to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
- Supervise relationships with external learning vendors and providers of executive education.
- Analyze and assess the success of learning programs by leveraging analytics and participant feedback.
- Ensure alignment between all learning programs, talent development strategies, and the organization's priorities.
- Oversee assessments and evaluation exercises related to learning, guaranteeing timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct annual analyses of staff learning needs and update the learning catalogue accordingly.
- Prepare and present periodic training reports such as SLAs, quarterly progress, and KPIs; maintain up-to-date training records in the Learning Management System.
- Stay informed on training trends, new instructional publications, and innovative learning techniques; continuously benchmark with other organizations to adopt best practices.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related discipline is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- Between 8 to 10 years of full-time experience in Learning & Development within a large, diverse corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in instructional design, training program development, and diverse training methodologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Strong writing skills; ability to prepare and review a variety of reports and communications with clarity; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
