Position Overview
TechHeads is seeking a skilled Lead Security Enterprise Architect to join a major organisation in Dublin undergoing substantial technology and cybersecurity transformation. This strategic role involves defining enterprise security strategies and architectures that facilitate business priorities, resilience, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and enhance enterprise security architectures, principles, standards, and roadmaps.
- Convert business and technology needs into secure, scalable, and practical solutions.
- Provide architectural leadership for prominent technology programs and transformation efforts.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Collaborate with the broader Cyber Security team to identify and manage architectural risks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and advise on improvements to security capabilities.
- Ensure architectural governance, assurance, and provide technical guidance.
- Develop clear architecture documentation and communicate insights to technical and executive audiences.
- Lead, mentor, and influence architects and technical experts.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of experience in security architecture, solution architecture, technology delivery, or a similar area.
- Proven experience working at enterprise scale within complex or regulated environments.
- Thorough knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies, enterprise architecture, and cloud security.
- Strong abilities to influence senior stakeholders and translate business goals into technology solutions.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex security or technology transformation projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of security governance, risk management, compliance, and architectural assurance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing capabilities.
- Desirable academic background includes degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, GICSP, TOGAF, or equivalents are advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range from €80,000 to €90,000 depending on experience.
