Job Role

This position offers an hourly wage of $22.67 and provides a promising career path for individuals invested in safety and willing to undertake diverse labor duties throughout the site to support customer operations. Responsibilities involve manual tasks such as shoveling, pressure washing heavy off-road machinery, operating off-road mobile equipment including rock trucks and skidsteers, cutting scrap metal with a torch, and managing railway switch operations.

Work Conditions

• Requires ability to work varied shifts including rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and any day of the week.
• Job is performed in a steel mill environment subject to adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to consistently work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Competency in operating handheld cutting torches, off-road trucks, professional-grade pressure washers, and railroad switches.
• Compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.
