Role Overview
Position: Kitchen Porter
Location: Hatherop Castle School, Cirencester, GL7 3NB
Working Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 40 hours a week
Working Weeks: 33 weeks annually with holiday pay included
Annual Salary: £19,240 inclusive of four weeks' holiday pay
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial dishwashers or manually clean pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery.
- Verify incoming stock deliveries for accuracy and ensure proper and safe storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in both kitchen and dining spaces consistently.
- Assist the catering team in delivering friendly, efficient, and quality service to all patrons.
- Carry out internal transfers of supplies to service areas.
- Handle substantial manual lifting and physical tasks as part of daily duties.
Candidate Profile
- Dependable and hardworking individual ready to thrive within a lively catering environment.
- Previous experience in catering, retail, or customer service is beneficial but not necessary.
- Possesses a positive, cooperative team spirit.
- Adheres to food safety and hygiene protocols diligently.
- Values reliability and upholds high cleanliness and operational standards.
