Role Description

• Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment and all kitchen areas including show and banquet kitchens.
• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and properly storing goods.
• Support basic food preparation tasks when time allows.
• Help with unloading deliveries and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling to keep areas clean.
• Offer general assistance to chefs and kitchen staff as required.

Requirements

• Prior experience in kitchen or cleaning roles with a minimum commitment of three shifts.
• Able to function effectively in a fast-moving and physically demanding workplace.
• Basic understanding of food safety, with training available if needed.
• Strong attention to detail complemented by good teamwork abilities.
• Ownership of cleanliness particularly in guest-facing open kitchen areas.
• Availability and flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable and self-motivated, capable of working independently periodically.
• Collaborative attitude aligned with the team’s objective of maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.
