Junior Quality Manager

About the Role

We are partnering with an award-winning FMCG company located in Ballyconnell, County Cavan, Ireland seeking a Junior Quality Manager for their expanding, state-of-the-art facility. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This role offers an exciting chance for professionals with quality experience who are eager to progress into management and take on enhanced responsibilities while gaining leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Manager in overseeing daily Quality department operations.
• Ensure all products comply with customer specifications, legal standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Support both internal and external quality audits.
• Investigate quality concerns, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the Quality function.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Operations teams.
• Help in mentoring and developing the Quality team members.
• Maintain and update quality documentation and standards.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in auditing procedures and practices.
• Previous exposure to a Quality function role.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Motivated to advance a career in Quality Management.
