Role Overview

Our Shanghai studio is seeking a Junior C++ Engineer who will partner closely with designers, artists, and fellow engineers. You will contribute to code writing and bug-fixing tasks for AAA gaming projects while reporting directly to the Lead Engineer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gain proficiency in handling complex programming systems.
• Produce clean, efficient, thoroughly documented, and reliable code.
• Work collaboratively with design and art teams to ensure the development of game features that meet specifications.
• Create and enhance tools and editors used in the development process.

Who Should Apply

• Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience level: 0 to 3 years; outstanding recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Technical expertise: strong proficiency in C++ programming; experience with tool creation or rendering technologies is advantageous.
• Problem-solving ability: capable of independently troubleshooting simple to moderately complex technical problems.
• Soft skills: effective communication, accountability, and a team-oriented mindset.
