Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design and maintain robust backend services for enterprise applications. This role involves creating reliable, high-performance systems and collaborating closely with the broader engineering team on system architecture and execution strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend applications utilizing Java and the Spring framework.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs interfacing with internal and external services.
- Enhance system performance and ensure service scalability.
- Perform code reviews and participate in architectural decision-making.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues arising in production environments.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in developing production-grade Java applications.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and related Spring technologies.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system architecture.
