Job description
Overview
The IT Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and support services. This position requires providing end-user technical assistance, managing IT assets, and ensuring system security and compliance at Abdul Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Beverage Company located in Abha, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support to end users to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical faults across various platforms including systems and devices.
- Manage and maintain IT assets along with an up-to-date inventory.
- Support the continuous operation of IT systems and services by handling incidents and service requests efficiently.
- Ensure the security and compliance of endpoints within the IT environment.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users by managing system accesses and support requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of experience in technical computer support in a junior role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT ticketing systems.
- Competence in handling Active Directory, Outlook, printers, and scanners.
- Ability to diagnose and address basic technical issues independently.
- Proficient English communication skills in writing, reading, and speaking.
- Preferred certifications such as ITIL, A+, or equivalent.
- Strong communication abilities for effective interaction with team members and users.
