Role Overview
The Intermediate Engineer position involves active engagement in software engineering tasks such as designing solutions, coding, reviewing code, testing, and supporting production environments. Additionally, the role encompasses providing technical leadership within the team, managing project delivery, addressing technical obstacles, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery of secure, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software utilizing technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Oracle Database, Oracle Weblogic, both SOAP and REST web services, Vue.JS, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Red Hat Linux, and DevOps practices.
- Guide and support software engineering team members through mentorship, code reviews, and providing technical assistance.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and drive successful project execution.
- Organize and manage project tasks by assisting prioritization and planning to fulfill project goals effectively.
- Anticipate project risks proactively and address issues as they occur.
- Cultivate an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
- Participation in application support and on-call duties is desirable.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related disciplines, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of two years in a similar engineer role.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages and familiar with software development methodologies.
- Strong skills in programming and debugging.
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
- Eagerness to learn and develop leadership capabilities.
Additional Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Certifications or specialized training in related areas are beneficial.
