Job Overview

We seek a creative and meticulous Interior Designer to craft functional, visually appealing, and safe interior environments. The chosen candidate will work closely with clients, architects, vendors, and project teams to develop innovative designs and ensure projects are executed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to grasp their design needs, tastes, and budget constraints.
• Create interior design concepts including mood boards, layouts, and presentations.
• Plan space allocation, furniture arrangement, color themes, and select materials.
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings utilizing design software.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout projects.
• Conduct site visits to oversee progress and validate design implementation.
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, lighting, fabrics, and accessories according to design.
• Ensure designs adhere to safety standards and building codes.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation efficiently.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, new materials, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as an interior designer or an analogous position.
• Proficient in design programs like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong creative vision, visualization skills, and effective presentation capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of materials, lighting, furniture, and optimizing space utilization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships smoothly.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.
• Knowledge of Vastu or Feng Shui principles (optional depending on location).
• Certification in any recognized interior design software is advantageous.
