About the Role
Our client seeks a skilled Interior Designer to join their Dubai-based team. The successful candidate will have substantial experience working in the UAE, specifically focusing on upscale residential interiors and commercial office fit-outs, with a solid track record of delivering top-notch design solutions from initial concept all the way through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and present interior design concepts and comprehensive design packages tailored for luxury residences and commercial office spaces.
- Develop presentations including layouts, mood boards, material selections, detailed drawings, and specifications.
- Manage various project phases from conceptualization, through design development, to execution.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and various project stakeholders.
- Maintain the original design vision, quality standards, and project requirements throughout the design process.
- Examine drawings, finishes, materials, and technical specifics to ensure they align with the intended design direction.
- Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and coordination discussions as needed.
- Contribute to successful project delivery within set schedules and quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant interior design experience, preferably with notable UAE market exposure.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing high-end residential interiors.
- Proven background in commercial office fit-out projects.
- Deep understanding of design fundamentals, materials, finishes, and detailing techniques.
- Ability to transform conceptual ideas into detailed, executable design packages.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Capacity to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant residential and commercial projects.
- Experience with projects based in the UAE is highly preferred.
