Interior Designer

Position Summary

We are seeking an Interior Designer to collaborate in the conceptualization, planning, and realization of interior environments that effectively blend visual appeal with practicality and client expectations. The role involves utilizing advanced software tools to produce detailed 2D plans, immersive 3D models, and photorealistic renderings across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support senior design staff in formulating creative concepts tailored to client specifications.
• Develop and implement space planning solutions that maximize utility while adhering to design guidelines.
• Generate true-to-life visualizations and virtual walkthroughs using SketchUp, V-Ray, and D5 Render.
• Produce comprehensive technical drawings including plans, elevations, and sections with AutoCAD.
• Assist in the selection process for materials, finishes, furnishings, and color schemes.
• Prepare compelling client presentations incorporating mood boards and design proposals for approval.
• Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the faithful realization of design intent.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling.
• Expertise with rendering tools such as V-Ray and D5 Render.
• Competence in AutoCAD for technical drafting and detailing.
• Skilled in Photoshop for creating presentation boards and image editing.
• Sound knowledge of design fundamentals including ergonomics and relevant building codes.
• Ability to accurately interpret architectural drawings.
• Understanding of lighting concepts, material properties, and finishes.
• Established aesthetic judgment with grasp of color theory and design composition.
• Innovative mindset for developing creative design solutions.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
• Between one and two years of practical experience in interior design projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating capabilities in 2D technical drawings, 3D renderings, and completed projects.
