About the Team
The Professional Services team embodies a convergence of payment knowledge and integration expertise, supporting Stripe implementations across innumerable projects. We assist clients in building marketplaces, launching subscription models, entering international markets, and more. Our team ensures smooth implementations and provides essential post-launch support to optimize client value quickly and confidently.
Role Overview
We invite accomplished Integration Engineers to join our SEA distributed group, providing technical leadership and consulting to Stripe's top strategic clients during their integration processes. This role combines technical acumen with customer engagement, influencing product evolution by sharing insights from direct client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor, tackling complex technical challenges and cultivating strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders within client organizations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and other customer-facing teams to enhance client engagements, secure new customers, and drive Professional Services revenue.
- Oversee the complete integration engineering lifecycle, from architectural design through practical coding and deployment.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively, articulating Stripe's product features and API structures clearly to diverse audiences.
- Educate developers and users on Stripe’s benefits, best practices, and emerging technological developments.
- Act as the principal ongoing technical liaison for major users and partners, fostering sustained collaboration.
- Stay informed about Stripe’s latest technological advances and represent technical leadership via publications and conference presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback and best practice recommendations to product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to advancing Professional Services methodologies and tools, enhancing engagement efficiency and troubleshooting capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture, technical consulting, system integration, application delivery, or process re-engineering.
- Proficient in debugging code, both in Stripe’s platform and client implementations.
- Ability to explain complex technical elements of Stripe's products and APIs clearly and confidently.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems including middleware, adept with data modeling, business object design, and interface production.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to present complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership, proactive drive, and entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in fast-moving environments.
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English required due to focus on Greater China clients.
- Willingness to travel lightly on a quarterly basis for client site visits and internal team meetings.

Working Arrangement

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary for this position in Singapore is approximately SGD 200,000 to SGD 300,000, varying with experience and location. Compensation may include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health coverage, and wellness stipends. Details are discussed during the hiring process.
