Data Annotator - Image Evaluation Specialist (Remote Contract)

Position Overview

This remote contract role involves detailed image evaluation to ensure alignment with project standards. The position offers hourly compensation ranging from $20 to $30 and requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess images according to comprehensive project guidelines and quality benchmarks.
• Identify and document visual discrepancies, errors, and variances relative to established standards.
• Compose clear and succinct written justifications to explain evaluation outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistency and update calibration as criteria evolve.
• Spot and record edge cases or unique image instances not covered by current instructions.
• Help improve project materials by highlighting unclear aspects or missing information.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven background in structured review workflows.
• Exceptional visual attention to detail, adept at identifying minor issues within images.
• Proficient written English skills for providing precise feedback and documentation.
• Experience in content assessment, moderation, quality control, annotation, or trust & safety initiatives is advantageous.
• Comfortable using digital content review or annotation software tools.
