About the Role
Via Medica, under the International SOS Group umbrella, is seeking a seasoned and proactive Human Resources Manager based in Abu Dhabi. This pivotal role calls for a strategic HR leader adept in the healthcare sector, tasked with advancing people strategies to bolster business expansion and elevate employee engagement throughout UAE operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to devise and implement HR strategies that align with company goals.
- Drive workforce planning, organizational structuring, and talent management initiatives.
- Offer expert advice on culture, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to UAE Labour Law and best HR practices.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for healthcare and corporate staff.
- Manage performance appraisal systems, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Promote a positive work environment, handling complex employee relations matters.
- Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and cultivate a culture of high performance.
- Supervise HR operations including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR technology systems.
- Track HR metrics and workforce analytics to aid business decisions.
- Conduct compliance audits guaranteeing alignment with internal policies and UAE regulations.
- Support medical workforce registration, licensing, staffing mobilization, and regulatory compliance processes.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR management or HR business partnering roles.
- Healthcare sector experience is essential, particularly in medical or healthcare services.
- Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and employee relations best practices.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment, performance management, payroll, benefits, HR systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, multi-cultural, matrixed environments.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent are considered advantageous.
