Overview

A well-established international consultancy specializing in landscape architecture, urban infrastructure, and sustainable design is recruiting an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This leadership role encompasses managing the entire HR function and partnering with senior management to propel the organization's talent development, employee engagement, and overall people strategy.

The company is known for handling a diverse array of high-profile projects integrating design, engineering, and sustainability to develop innovative, resilient environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the HR department.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align human resources strategies with business goals.
  • Create, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Lead talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding activities.
  • Work alongside department heads to assess and plan for talent needs, skills requirements, and succession plans.
  • Develop strategies to improve employee retention, engagement, and professional development.
  • Design and roll out learning and development programs.
  • Oversee performance management processes and assist managers in handling performance challenges.
  • Provide counsel on employee relations including disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends to recommend competitive packages.
  • Establish effective onboarding procedures.
  • Stay informed of best HR practices, legal regulations, and emerging HR technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws and maintain accurate records.
  • Offer guidance to management on HR-related issues.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in an HR Manager or senior leadership HR role.
  • Comprehensive experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning/development, and compensation/benefits.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Philippine labor laws including pension and benefit regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Strong grasp of recruitment and talent management methodologies.
  • Experience consulting senior leaders and managers on complex HR issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving capability.
  • Highly organized with capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professional discretion in sensitive employee matters.

Additional Information

Salary: AED 22,000 to 25,000 per month
