Overview

Lambda.Global is engaged in connecting exceptional talent with premium opportunities. We invite applications for a Human Resources Director on behalf of a premier commercial bank in Mongolia. This role is integral to the C-Level leadership team, tasked with steering the HR function within a dynamic and mission-driven banking environment. Key Duties

  • Formulate and maintain HR strategies and policies that align with organizational goals and the legal framework of Mongolia.
  • Lead recruitment efforts focusing on executive hiring, onboarding, and promoting the employer brand in a banking context.
  • Administer performance management systems to ensure fair evaluation, developmental support, and equitable rewards.
  • Manage employee relations, mediate conflicts, and design initiatives that enhance engagement across the bank’s various branches and departments.
  • Guarantee compliance with domestic labor laws and internationally accepted banking HR standards.
  • Support learning and development programs while managing competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Oversee HR operational processes including documentation, reporting, and the use of HR analytics to guide decision-making.

Professional Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in HR strategy and operations, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or comparable fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mongolian labor and employment laws along with familiarity of international HR compliance practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving abilities, and effective stakeholder engagement skills, especially with Boards and executive leadership.
  • Fluency in Mongolian coupled with professional English proficiency.
