About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the application and ongoing enhancement of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and programs within the company's operations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, perform risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations, identify hazards, and ensure prompt corrective measures are implemented.
- Document and track incidents, accidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions, and behavioral issues to uphold workplace safety.
- Participate in incident investigations including root cause analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Oversee HSE performance indicators, contribute actively to safety committees, working groups, and initiatives aimed at improvement.
- Ensure that employees and visitors receive adequate HSE training, conduct regular toolbox talks, and promote safety awareness activities.
- Verify proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reinforce adherence to safe working procedures.
- Coordinate activities related to fire protection, emergency preparedness, drills, and documentation.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports in compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and HR to enhance the safety culture.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma coupled with a relevant qualification in Health, Safety & Environment.
- Holds at least two years of experience in HSE roles, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, or comparable operational environments.
- Certified in professional HSE credentials such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, and/or OSHA.
- Registered or certified as an HSE Professional or Practitioner with Kawader.
- Well-versed in OSHA frameworks, occupational health & safety practices, and local regulatory guidelines.
- Experienced in risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency response, and fire safety procedures.
- Familiarity with SAP and Ariba systems is beneficial.
- Native Arabic speaker with proficiency in English at a business level.
- Flexible to adjust working schedules, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as per operational needs.
- Currently living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
