Housekeeper

Position Overview

We are looking for a responsible, dependable, and organized Housekeeper to join a private household in Lagos, Nigeria. This full-time role requires maintaining cleanliness, preparing meals, managing laundry, running errands, and supporting various daily household functions while working independently and discreetly.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook meals primarily on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with occasional meal preparation on Wednesday evenings.
• Perform weekly comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of the residence.
• Handle laundry duties including washing and drying household linens and clothes using laundry machines.
• Run personal and household errands within Lagos when necessary.
• Shop for groceries and necessary household supplies.
• Assist with additional household tasks as needed to maintain comfort and order.
• Uphold confidentiality and discretion when managing household and personal matters.
• Complete duties punctually and reliably following agreed schedules.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, personal assistance, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficient cooking skills and basic knowledge of household management.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• High degree of reliability, trustworthiness, and responsibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Familiarity with operating washing machines and dryers.
• Knowledge of Lagos city and capacity to navigate errands as needed.
• Professional demeanor with respect for client privacy and firm maintenance of professional boundaries.
• Mature and dependable attitude essential.
