Job Summary

The full-time housekeeper will work day shifts to ensure the hospital remains clean and sanitary, meeting strict OSHA standards and guidelines set by the housekeeping supervisor. Tasks include daily cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices. Stock management of paper products throughout the hospital is also part of the role. Additionally, the housekeeper performs terminal cleaning of rooms once patients are discharged, preparing rooms for new admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and furniture on a daily basis.
• Clean office spaces and other common areas as needed.
• Stock and rotate paper products and other supplies in the hospital regularly.
• Perform terminal cleaning for rooms after patient discharge to prepare for new patients.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and facility housekeeping protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
• Physical capability to meet the demands of tasks such as loading and unloading.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to standardized procedures for stocking and inventory handling.
