Role Overview

The Housekeeper plays a vital role within our team, ensuring the care home's cleanliness meets the highest standards. This includes meticulous attention to every surface and area to maintain hygiene and comfort. The role also involves managing residents' personal laundry, ensuring clothes and bedding are washed, pressed, and perfectly folded. By maintaining an impeccable environment, housekeepers contribute significantly to the well-being of our residents.

Key Attributes and Experience

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry duties is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail to identify and address any issues within the home.
  • A friendly, caring demeanor with the ability to connect and engage effectively with residents and their families.
  • Understanding or awareness of the care sector and its specific needs.

Work Hours and Conditions

This is a part-time position with 37.5 hours per week scheduled over five days, including weekends, on a rota basis. Daily shifts operate between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
