Housekeeper

Job Overview

The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in sustaining cleanliness and order in public hotel spaces while ensuring guest rooms are maintained to high standards. This person also assists with laundry duties and the management of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and coworkers with a warm, service-oriented attitude.
• Adhere strictly to the hotel's safety protocols and operational standards to maintain an efficient environment.
• Clean guest rooms thoroughly by vacuuming carpets, changing linens, polishing mirrors, and cleaning bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, curtains, and floors.
• Manage the housekeeping cart by organizing and restocking guest amenities, cleaning materials, and linens.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles.
• Physical capability to stand and walk for up to eight hours per day, with the ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and complete tasks within specified deadlines.
