Role Overview

InterContinental Dublin is in search of a passionate and forward-thinking Head Sommelier to lead the wine experience at the launch of its newly designed restaurant in Dublin 4. This role is pivotal to complement the restaurant's contemporary Irish and international dining concept, emphasizing provenance, seasonality, and global culinary influences. The wine program will serve as a cornerstone of the overall guest encounter.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage an engaging and commercially astute wine list.
• Possess deep expertise in both Old World and New World wines.
• Bring vibrancy to guest interactions and confidence when presenting at tables.
• Guide, mentor, and enhance the skills of the restaurant’s team.
• Deliver service that meets luxury and five-star hospitality benchmarks.
