Job Responsibilities

• Perform small to medium maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial projects, ranging in duration from a couple of hours to two days.
• Engage with customers to clearly explain necessary work and set realistic expectations regarding project scope and costs.
• Consistently provide an exceptional customer experience that fosters repeat business, utilizing the structured "Mr. Handyman Way" process.
• Carry out self-management duties since you will often work independently.
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively, soliciting feedback and reviews, and handling payments efficiently.
• Possess and competently utilize necessary tools and technology to document jobs and follow company procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and protective booties to safeguard customers' homes.

Minimum Requirements

• Reside within the local area.
• Have a minimum of 8 years of paid handyman experience.
• Own and maintain your personal set of tools.
• Be insurable to operate company vehicles.
• Successfully complete background and driving record checks.
• Be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unaided.
• Be able to safely work at heights and overhead for prolonged periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and upkeep of the provided company vehicle.

Technical Expertise (Proficiency in at least 3 of the following)

• Carpentry tasks
• Bathroom renovations
• Kitchen enhancements
• Interior and exterior painting
• Drywall installation and repair (minor and major)
• Basic plumbing and electrical work where legally permitted
• Floor installation and restoration
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual pay range between $40,000 and $60,000, based on experience.
