Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Groundsman to join our Facilities team at the Pimpama campus. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, this full-time, permanent role operates Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, landscaped areas, and sports fields using manual tools and machinery, including line marking and preparing sports fields (e.g., setting up volleyball nets).
- Ensure "front of school" areas such as grounds, buildings, and playground equipment visible to parents are kept to an excellent standard and given priority.
- Participate in landscape projects to improve the campus environment as part of the team.
- Adhere strictly to Australian safety standards and best practices while working.
- Attend all meetings called by the Facilities Manager, including those with a spiritual focus.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous groundskeeping experience, with a grounds qualification preferred; trade qualifications or significant building experience are also valued.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is mandatory.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor throughout all seasons, capable of sustained physical work.
- Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.
