Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your retail expertise. In this role, you are expected to deliver outstanding customer service aligned with Walmart's core values while maintaining the grocery department. Key duties include organizing, stocking, and facilitating sales of grocery items.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the grocery department's organization and zoning.
- Rotate inventory and inspect products to identify expired items.
- Ensure all products are accurately signed and priced.
- Adhere to food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols.
- Follow procedures for ordering, markdowns, clearances, and proper labeling.
- Keep the department fully stocked and business-ready.
- Observe Health and Safety regulations.
- Stock and pick merchandise, perform downstocking as necessary, apply product protection, and set up modular displays including flexible modulars and shelf caps.
Additional Information
