About the Role
If you enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for turf management, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Sports Turf team responsible for maintaining high-quality sports fields, cricket pitches, and community recreational areas in the Shire. This position involves practical, hands-on work with plenty of variety, providing a chance to grow your technical expertise under experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
As a Greenkeeper, your key duties include the upkeep and enhancement of sports turf and cricket wickets to ensure they meet community standards. You'll contribute to maintaining outdoor sports facilities in excellent condition, providing safe and attractive playing surfaces.
Requirements
- Possession of Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, Greenkeeping, or substantial relevant experience in greenkeeping.
- Qualification in AQF3/Chemcert or an equivalent pesticide application certification.
- Valid White Card indicating construction safety awareness.
- Experience working in sports turf maintenance or cricket pitch preparation environments.
- Strong safety mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Additional Information
Available positions include both permanent and temporary full-time roles, working 38 hours per week on a 9-day fortnight basis. The salary package ranges from $72,577 to $76,813 gross per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
