About the Role
The Global Mobility Adviser position is integral to facilitating Griffith University students' engagement with international study opportunities, including exchange, study abroad, short-term programs, and initiatives under the New Colombo Plan. This role encompasses guiding students through their international mobility journey, supporting administrative tasks, and enhancing program promotion and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored advice and support to students exploring international mobility, utilizing various communication channels to boost program uptake.
- Manage application processes for outbound study, inbound exchange, and study abroad programs efficiently.
- Represent Griffith Global Mobility in various events such as information sessions, expos, Open Days, and visits from partner institutions, agents, and government delegates.
- Create and update website content as well as promotional materials to increase student engagement and participation in mobility programs.
- Maintain precise data records for mobility programs and generate required reports and statistical summaries.
- Stay informed about pertinent legislation, university policies, and trends in international education and student mobility.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities to interact effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills for delivering engaging sessions and promotional activities to diverse audiences.
- Superior organizational and administrative proficiency with keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle complex tasks and priorities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a deep dedication to supporting students throughout their global learning experiences.
- Experience in creating, maintaining, or promoting content using digital and print media such as websites, presentations, and brochures.
- Advanced digital literacy and adaptability to learn and navigate multiple systems and platforms effectively.
- Collaborative team player who takes responsibility for tasks and achieves results in a dynamic work setting.
Work Environment and Benefits
This is a full-time ongoing position based at either the Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses of Griffith University. The role may require working across multiple university sites.
Griffith University acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which its campuses are situated.
The salary grade HEW 5 offers a base salary range from $82,415 to $92,456 plus 17% superannuation, totaling a package between $96,426 and $108,174 annually.
