Job description
About the Position
We are seeking General Operatives to join a specialist manufacturing and processing facility in Cavan supporting the semiconductor industry. This is a permanent, full-time role with complete training provided. The job entails handling high-value precision components, ensuring their cleaning, processing, and inspection meet rigorous quality standards.
Core Duties
- Operate production and specialized cleaning machinery.
- Clean precision metal parts using specific chemicals and methods.
- Load and unload components into machines.
- Inspect parts to verify adherence to strict quality criteria.
- Pack and label finished items for shipment.
- Complete production documentation and follow procedural instructions accurately.
- Keep the work area tidy and organized.
- Comply with all health, safety, and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Working Hours and Shift Details
Initial training occurs on a day shift from approximately 8:30am to 5:00pm. After training and probation, employees transition to a weekly rotating shift pattern:
- Morning shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Evening shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Shifts are Monday to Friday with a half-hour lunch break. A 20% shift allowance applies during shift work.

Candidate Profile
- Preferably around one year experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production roles
- Experience handling machinery or production equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work rotating shifts reliably

- Capable of following detailed instructions and procedures
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset
- Legally authorized to work in Ireland
- Reliable transportation to the Cavan site
