About the Role
Safety-Kleen in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a dependable General Laborer / Operator to join their safety-first team. The position involves various duties such as container cleaning and turnaround, acting as a flagman for landfill operations, painting, housekeeping, and other general labor tasks throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize health and safety by following all established safe work procedures and policies at all times.
- Operate oil filter crusher machinery effectively.
- Prepare bulk waste materials for shipment to designated Safety-Kleen, Clean Harbors, or third-party locations.
- Accurately complete and submit all required documentation for waste tracking and movement.
- Operate forklifts when required, conducting and documenting daily safety inspections prior to use.
- Conduct daily and weekly facility inspections as scheduled.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable health and safety standard operating procedures.
- Understand and take responsibility for compliance with area-specific permit requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse, loading, and unloading zones through ongoing inventory management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Experience handling hazardous materials is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Possession of a valid G driver’s license is mandatory.
- Strong dependability and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Ability to regularly lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to undergo training for suitable candidates.
