GCP Cloud Engineer – Kubernetes & DevOps

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer with over 4 years of professional experience specializing in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud security to join our team in Mumbai. This full-time onsite role requires an expert capable of designing, deploying, and managing Google Cloud Platform environments effectively.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on development and operations involving Google Cloud Platform services and architectural components.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including deployment strategies, scaling solutions, networking configurations, and troubleshooting issues.
• Design and administer cloud networking components such as Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), subnetting, Identity and Access Management (IAM), firewalls, VPNs, and routing per Landing Zone frameworks.
• Develop cloud infrastructure solutions ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimized costs.
• Implement DevOps practices using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and automation tools.
• Enforce cloud security measures following DevSecOps principles to safeguard environments.
• Regularly monitor and optimize cloud workloads and infrastructure to enhance performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform tools and services.
• Advanced Kubernetes and GKE expertise, including cluster management and networking.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking components and Landing Zone concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, particularly Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipeline construction.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
