Job description
Overview
Join our team as a Functional Support Specialist, playing a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction through efficient and high-quality support during and after the implementation of our solutions. This role focuses on delivering first-line assistance, providing you with the chance to expand your knowledge in enterprise applications and emerging technologies tailored for government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries and support requests.
- Evaluate customer challenges and requirements to facilitate effective solutions.
- Customize and adapt the FreeBalance software to meet specific business needs.
- Gain comprehensive understanding of clients' operational environments to maximize product utilization.
- Serve as the main contact for clients during roll-out phases and ongoing support.
- Collaborate in the creation and delivery of client training on functional aspects.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and related documentation.
- Convey client feedback to sales, product planning, and development teams to inform future product enhancements.
- Create or adjust custom software solutions including reports and forms.
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Financial Administration or closely related discipline.
- At least 4 years' experience in Payroll operations along with knowledge of Human Resources systems.
- Professional credentials such as PCP, CPM, CMA, CGA plus experience within prominent accounting or ERP firms are advantageous.
- Background in business process re-engineering and deploying large-scale IT solutions.
- Desirable to have 3 or more years engaged in ERP software deployment.
- Familiarity with ANSI SQL scripting and reporting tools like Jaspersoft iReports or Crystal Reports is beneficial.
- Experience collaborating with government entities will be an asset.
- Strong grasp of public sector human resources, payroll, budgeting, accounting, and cash management workflows.
- Thorough understanding of financial and accounting protocols specific to the public sector.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Applicants must be Seychelles nationals residing in Seychelles.
Required Technical Competencies
- Expertise in human resources management, payroll operations, budget handling, and cash management with emphasis on the public sector.
