Role Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking candidates with backgrounds in product development across system, software, or hardware levels within industries such as automotive, avionics, medical devices, or rail transport, who are passionate about advancing their expertise. In this challenging role centered on automotive functional safety—integral to our instrument clusters, central displays, cockpit domain controllers, and battery management systems—you will:
- Establish and uphold ISO 26262 safety and reliability standards along with supplementary processes;
- Lead functional safety audits and evaluate engineering and production units;
- Conduct impartial confirmation reviews on safety-critical deliverables;
- Verify the proper execution of safety protocols within product developments;
- Track and communicate statuses related to functional safety development;
- Guarantee product compliance with functional safety requirements;
- Provide leadership in process and technical training sessions;
- Investigate, assess, and disseminate insights on functional safety market trends and innovative product architectures to product development teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline;
- Practical experience in the specification, development, or testing of electronic products;
- Competency in system design;
- Familiarity with software design alongside fundamental hardware concepts;
- Experience in functional safety is advantageous;
- Strong negotiation and persuasive communication abilities;
- Comfort and enthusiasm for collaborating within a culturally diverse team environment;
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
