Job Summary

The Dishwasher role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to meet safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food residue from dirty dishes and clean them by hand or using dishwashing equipment, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays following specific procedures to guarantee cleanliness.
• Polish silver items using various equipment and methods to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols while performing all tasks.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate temperatures and chemical levels as required.
• Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold sanitation and safety standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Dispose of trash properly and sanitize garbage cans by steam cleaning or hosing out.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas when needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous possession of a Lancaster County Food Handler's permit is preferred.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position located at Haleon - 10401 US Highway 6, Lincoln, NE 68517, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Further schedule details will be provided during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Internal employee referral bonuses are available.
