Position Details
- Job Title: Full Stack Technical Lead
- Location: Doha, Qatar
- Employment Type: Contract for an initial duration of 3-6 months with possibility of extension
- Notice Period: Maximum 30 days
Technical Responsibilities
The role requires leading engineering teams developing scalable, cloud-native applications. You will facilitate design and implementation of robust software systems using modern technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and guide Full Stack applications using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
- Utilize frontend frameworks React and Next.js for responsive interfaces.
- Design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs along with event-driven system architectures.
- Implement microservices and modular structures to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on data modeling and query tuning.
Cloud and DevOps Expertise
- Manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices via Terraform or Pulumi.
- Deploy and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Execute sophisticated deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary deployments.
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with familiarity of other major cloud services.
Reliability and Observability
- Implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and distributed tracing systems.
- Set up alerting and monitoring frameworks to ensure system health.
- Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to maintain service reliability.
- Manage incident response and support production environments.
Experience and Additional Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Preferred background in client-facing or consulting delivery environments.
- Experience in regulated industries or government sector projects is advantageous.
- Involvement in pre-sales activities including solution design, effort estimation, and proposal preparation.
