Brythm is an online Tiffin delivery service that connects customers with authentic home chefs, ensuring hygienic, affordable, and delicious home-cooked meals are delivered directly to customers' doorsteps.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Full-Stack Developer specialized in the MERN stack to take comprehensive ownership of feature development, from designing database schemas and APIs to optimizing client-side performance. This position suits a candidate comfortable working across the entire application stack in a rapid development environment.
Technical Stack
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js
- Databases: MongoDB (using Mongoose), PostgreSQL with foundational SQL knowledge
- Caching and Real-time Technologies: Redis, WebSocket
- DevOps and Tools: Docker, Git, RESTful API orchestration
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end scalable web features, ensuring smooth data integration between frontend and backend systems.
- Develop and maintain clean, secure, and efficient RESTful APIs integrating internal and third-party services.
- Manage databases by designing schemas, writing optimized queries, and implementing strategies such as indexing and connection pooling.
- Handle client-side state effectively, ensuring responsive UI components optimized for speed across devices.
- Collaborate with engineering leads, product managers, and UI/UX designers to translate designs and user journeys into high-quality code.
Experience and Skills Required
- 3 to 5 years of professional full-stack development experience within a production JavaScript environment.
- Strong understanding of frontend and backend engineering principles, including DOM manipulation, state lifecycle management, asynchronous event handling, and server performance optimization.
- Ability to convert design prototypes and wireframes into accurate, high-quality interactive features while maintaining project velocity.
