Role Overview

We seek an experienced Freight Forwarder proficient in Road, Ocean, or Air Freight to join a reputable logistics company in Dundalk, Ireland. This position offers the chance to enhance your expertise across multiple freight modes within a growing forwarding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of freight shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Coordinate multimodal shipments including Road, Ocean, and Air Freight.
• Manage both imports and exports effectively.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers, carriers, hauliers, shipping lines, and global partners.
• Prepare and control all necessary shipping and transport documentation.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively update customers.
• Identify and resolve operational delays or issues promptly.
• Keep precise shipment data updated in the freight management system.
• Collaborate closely with internal forwarding and logistics teams.
• Deliver reliable, customer-centric service standards.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum two years of prior experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Road, Ocean, or Air Freight.
• Familiarity with end-to-end freight forwarding processes.
• Capability to independently manage freight shipments.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced forwarding environment.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Experience handling multiple freight modes is advantageous but not mandatory.
